The Szechuan Green Beans with Ground Pork recipe is characteristic of the hot and spicy cuisine from the Szechuan province. You can substitute lean ground chicken or turkey for pork and asparagus for green beans.
Ingredients:
- 100 g minced pork
- 50 ml Bali’s Best Sweet Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp ABC Chili Sauce (any flavor)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Dash of salt
- Dash of sugar
- 500 g green beans, sliced into 2 inch lengths
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 4 tbsp cooking oil
- 100 ml water (optional)
Directions:
- Over medium heat, sauté green beans in 2 tbsp of cooking oil for 3 to 4 minutes and set aside. Over high heat, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add minced pork and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add water, ABC Chili Sauce, Bali’s Best Sweet Soy Sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt and green beans. Serve with rice.
